Difference between Ambient Digital and Nuffnang.com.ph in the Philippines
These
two ad networks are one of the most popular ad networks in the
Philippines, they are both credible, pay on time, easy ad implementation
to your blog or website. So what makes them different? Here, I will
state their differences based on my experience and observation.
1. Ad Format
Ambient Digital are mostly video ads that pops on the lower right of your blog, it is less intrusive and does not bother your readers, whilst nuffnang.ph on the other hand is a graphical banners in standard ads sizes (i.e leaderboard, big square, skyscraper dynamic ads), less intrusive as well.
2. Advertisers
Ambient has more advertiser, nuffnang also has many, but they are so picky when to show ads on a particular website. On my experience nuffnang will serve ads based on your traffic and blog genre, while ambient will serve ads if you will approve their request via email.
3. Rate or income
This is the best part in blogging ^_^
ambient digital rates are based on unique impression multiply by ecpm, average ecpm is 50php, cpc will count along with cpm, nuffnang on the other hand serves two kinds of ads cpc global ads with average of 15-20php per click and cpuv which is cost per unique visit, computation are unknown.
4. Publisher application (How to join)

Nuffnang accepts almost every blog, so its easy to join without minimum requirements, they only reject forum websites.

5. Support
Both have dedicated account managers, which you can ask when you encounter problems, they reply within 48 hrs.
6. Blogging experience
Nuffnang holds contest and events from time to time, to join just follow their instructions via email, or visit their blog, prices are great from coupons to gadget, from tickets to social events. Ambient digital does not have any of these for now, maybe in the future, hopefully.
7. Fill rate
Fill rate is very subjective on both ad networks, in ambient digital the more ads they offer the more ads you will show almost 100% fill rate, while nuffnang ads depends on your traffic and what you blog, advertisers dictates when to show ads, some blogs has 70% while other have none, thus giving nuffnang a free ads.
